Marianne Fulton, senior Curator of Exhibitions and Photographic Collections at the International Museum of Photography at George Eastman House, is the author of "The Wise Silence: Photographs by Paul Caponigro" and, most recently, "Eyes of Time: Photojournalism in America", for which she received the Leica Medal of Excellence as Person of the Year, 1989. She lectures internationally on twentieth- century photography and is the associate editor of IMAGE magazine.
