Mark has achieved worldwide fame though her numerous photo-essays and portraits in the international media, including The New York Times Magazine, the London Sunday Times Magazine, Harper’s Bazaar, Vogue, Life and Rolling Stone.

For more than 25 years, she has dedicated herself to taking pictures that reflect a high degree of humanism. She has received many honours, including the Matrix Award for Outstanding Woman in the Film/Photography and a World Press Award for Outstanding Body of Work Throughout the Years.

She has published 11 books, including Mother Teresa’s Mission of Charity in Calcutta and Indian Circus.
