Has there ever been a sillier question than "Is there really a Santa Claus?" Of course there's a Santa Claus. In fact, there are thousands of Santas who for years have brought joy to countless true believers young and old, and they've done it while cheerfully submitting to the kind of indignities normally reserved for politicians and circus clowns. As the photographs on these and the following pages show, being Santa means never having to say you're embarrassed.
