“She was the youngest-looking pregnant girl I had ever seen,' Mark recalls. She absolutely wasn't prepared and didn't know what was going on." Mark spent three months photographing Jeanette, her 14-year-old boyfriend and, ultimately, their baby. Chastity, now 17, lives with her mother in Troy, N.Y; she begins college this summer.
